Black & White Wedding Cake

Black & white cakes are my absolute favorite cakes to make! The colors are classy and sophisticated but still fun. The bride wanted a topsy turvy cake and gave me her colors and said I could do the rest. I love when that happens! Creative control is always fun for me but in the back of my mind I'm always thinking "I hope this is what they wanted"! She had her wedding at Tre Bella in Mesa and the cake matched her decor perfect. And I mean perfect!! This is one of my absolute favorites. You can never go wrong with a black and white cake!

Blue & Green Wedding Cake

This cake was for her actual ceremony and I kept it more elegant for the occasion.

We did a much more fun cake for her reception the following night and it fit PERFECTLY with her decorations!

Fall Wedding Cake

The bride requested chocolate butter cream with swirls and daisy's. It was a perfect fit for her Fall wedding!

Ruffle Wedding Cake

Romantic vintage seems so be very trendy right now with weddings along with ruffles. My sister requested ruffles on her cake and I was a little hesitant at first about this request. I wanted it to have a nice flow and not too messy. I really loved the way it turned out...even with the basket cake stand!

Teacher Appreciation Cake

I love teachers!!! My mom, 2 sisters and my Grandpa are (or have been) teachers so I know the good, the bad and the ugly that come from that profession. I was actually 2 years into my schooling when I decided that elem education was not for me! They are so overworked and underpaid it's ridiculous. I try to donate or help out as much as possible at my children's school so I thought this would be perfect for Teacher Appreciation Week. I wanted to write all the names of the staff on the crayons but I ran out of time. Darn it! Next year will be bigger and better:)

1st birthday cake

This cake was thrown together in one day...which is not very fun...but it was for my baby boy so it was worth it. I love you bubba! Still can't believe you're already one!
